This book has the exceptional binding, print and paper one would expect from Edition Peters. This volume contains 50 sonatas varying in difficulty. There is no preface, catalog information (Longo, Kirkpatric etc.) or references. The editing includes tempo (metronome) indications, fingering, sticatto marks and other forms of phrasing. Also included...

are the very annoying marks of volume interpretation (piano - forte etc.) Some of the sonatas use the ggg note. Not available on some keyboards. The music is great. Just what one should expect from Mr. Scarlatti. Good melodies, fiery and creative.
