The first performance, on January 7, 1857, featured the composer conducting the Weimar Staatskappelle and his student Hans von Bronsart as soloist. This new score is a digitally enhanced reprint of the one first issued by Breitkopf und Hartel in 1914 as part of the Liszt complete works.
