An over 10 Minute Composition for Wind Orchestra

The Piece has a programmatic Background and its main theme is the love to the Homeland of Switzerland:

A Protagonist travels through the world and experiences a lot of different cultures, which can be clearly heard in the structure of the music. There are Motifs of the american culture with Bernstein, hints to the Viennese culture with a waltz or travelling-by-ship-music in the style of Pirates of the Caribbean.
But most important, there is a leitmotif, which suggests the Swiss Alps in its full beauty, based on natural scales (Alphorn).

The peace is varied and well received by the audience.

I have played this piece two times with an orchestra and I have to admit, that I am very proud of it.
