Choral Choir (SATB) - Level 2 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.1278351

Composed by Adolphe-Charles Adam. Arranged by Susan C Smith. Christian,Christmas,Holiday,Standards. Octavo. 16 pages. Susan C Smith at Dusty Guitar Music, LLC #870069. Published by Susan C Smith at Dusty Guitar Music, LLC (A0.1278351).

This beloved Christmas hymn was composed in 1847 by Adolphe Adam, using a poem by Placide Cappeau. The piece has quite a history due to the religious affilliations (or lack thereof) of the two, and of wording not agreeing with the Catholic church, among other things. The song has survived all of that, and is beloved by most, as well as being a personal favorite. I have taken some liberties with the lyrics and the meter to bring this piece to you. For choir with piano accompaniment. Please enjoy. Also available for SSAA. ASCAP.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
