Similar to my version 1 written in concert D, the melody line is spread through the band. Chromatic passages are used to provide interest and contract. Harmonies follow the rhythmic patterns of the snare drum. This version would be easier to get performance ready because of the concert key. The notation challenges make it an excellent teaching opportunity for rhythmic accuracy. This version of "O Canada" would be a great opener to a final concert or any public event in which the Canadian national anthem was needed.
