Published by Evelyn R Larter (A0.749846).The charming French carol is given lively treatment in this version for solo violin and piano, suitable for advanced intermediate performers. With a middle section in waltz rhythm, and an extended coda, it is suitable for any Christmas concert or church service. The setting comes from my two volume clarinet collection, Carols For The King From Around The World, (available at Sheet Music Press) which I am gradually rearranging for different performers. There is already a version for solo flute and other instrumentation will be offered eventually. The melody is also associated with the Easter carol, Now The Green Blade Riseth.
