This album features a beautiful program of works from the Renaissance for Soprano, accompanied here by lute, which was probably the most favored instrument for this during the Renaissance. Nadia Caristi graduated with degrees in classical piano and singing before going on to explore and ultimately dedicate herself to the historically informed performance practice of the Renaissance and Baroque vocal repertoires.
