This graceful and delicate baroque melody was composed in honor of JudithMaxwell.  In 1756, when her husband, JohnMaxwell, became Baron Farnham,  MrsMaxwell became Lady Farnham.

It is in the key of F. There are 3 verses; the second verse is in canonform. There are several 5 finger patterns requiring a thumb slide. The melodyis divided evenly between parts. Dynamics are clearly marked.
