The left hand has the accompaniment with many 10th intervals, ascending 4-2-1 shapes, and jumping between registers. There are multiple lever changes and glissandos throughout.

Range: The lowest note is D almost two octaves below middle C, and the highest note is G two and a half octaves above middle C.
