By Henry Mancini. By Henry Mancini. Arranged by Graham Main. Film/TV,Jazz. Score and parts. 8 pages. Graham Main #4295783. Published by Graham Main (A0.919718).

'Moon River', a timeless classic, written by Henry Mancini with lyrics by Johny Mercer, and notably sung by Audrey Hepburn in the 1961 movie Breakfast at Tiffany's. At the 1962 Academy Awards, 'Moon River' won for Mancini and Mercer the Oscar for 'Best Original Song'. This arrangement for string quartet is inspired by the atmosphere and spirit of the film soundtrack and gives the upper three instruments an opportunity in turn with the melody. This romantic ballad arrangement is perfect for many different events - wedding, St Valentine's Day,  jazz, movie themes, recital, or as a light encore after a heavy Brahms programme.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
