Composed by Conner Marzen. Contemporary. Individual part. 1 pages. Conner Richard Marzen #2022169. Published by Conner Richard Marzen (A0.938200).

A solo piece, written for one cello that describes the emotion of night; specifically the moonlight. Written in German, the title means "Moonlight Sonata". When played, one may tell of the various changes in emotion that occur. Mainly though the use of pizzicato or arco changes. This is a simple and small piece, mainly because this is the first piece I have ever written!!! Thank you for the support by purchasing this! (FYI: although not written in, the pizz. starting at measure 7 should be strum-like and flowing. Also the piece runs at about 1:30 long, definitely not a long piece, as designed for a simple practice to perfect piece.) This piece was designed as a practice for: -Thumb position and higher register -Multiple string changes -Dynamic contrast -Tempo -Bow timing.
