This piece was inspired by the metaphorical Doomsday clock, which was at 6 minutes to Midnight when I wrote this back in 2010. As of 2017, it now stands at 2.5 minutes. The piece was written the anxiety associated with this concept, gradually building in tempo and intensity, until finally reaching midnight and absolute nothingness. .
