19th century French composer Charles Gounod wrote the melody for Meditation (Ave Maria) and superimposed it over J.S. Bach's Prelude No. 1 in C major, from Book I of The Well-Tempered Clavier.

Inspired by the bossa nova music style of Brazil made popular in the 1960s by Antônio Carlos Jobim, João Gilberto, Stan Getz and others, this creative arrangement for flute, violin, guitar and drums of this beloved work is appropriate for any occasion. Can be performed with or without drums.
