This is in reponse to the reviewer who said the tunes with B flat were unplayable. He probably has his level harped tuned to C major. If you tune your harp to E flat, then you can play songs with between three flats and three sharps.

I was really sad that this book has so many beautiful tunes that involve either playing in the key of F which means on a traditional lever harp you have to tune your B to a B flat, or conversely, tune everything a half step lower and then lever up...

all but B Flat. Worse, there are a few tunes that make you go from B to B flat to A in a really short period, making the piece IMPOSSIBLE TO PLAY. I would say fully half of these tunes are impacted in this way. I wish the author would provide information about this because the playable tunes are lovely and haunting and all of the things you might expect from the medieval period. I appreciated the information about medieval music offered in the beginning. But I truly am looking for ways in which to play the entire book without having to transpose tunes myself.
