In 1603 Melchoir Teschner set the hymn tune to new lyrics. J. S. Bach created the harmonization that is commonly used. John Mason Neale translated it into English.
You will receive the Score plus separate parts. The piano part is also playable on organ or pedal harp. The harp part is clearly marked for lever and pedal changes. Lever harpists will play the glissando in the fourth verse diatonically.
