By War. By Charles W. Miller, Harold R. Brown, Howard Scott, Jerry Goldstein, Lee Oskar, Leroy Jordan, Morris Dickerson, and Sylvester Allen. Arranged by Charlie Peterson. Contemporary. Score and parts. 17 pages. Quintessential Brass Repertoire #5712335. Published by Quintessential Brass Repertoire (A0.909092).

Funky 70s song by the band War. It starts out with the French horn playing cowbell! The melody starts with trumpet 1 then shifts to trombone, trumpet 2 and then French horn (after relinquishing the cowbell). The tuba plays that classic bass line most of the time but does change for a while in the middle and even gets a few bars of melody. When the trumpet takes back the melody at the end the horn can either play a harmony line or go back to cowbell. Should be a fun one!
