Tchaikovsky used the melody in the finale of his Fourth Symphony. This arrangement was created for performance by young woodwind players of varying abilities—note that Flute 2 uses only D, E, G, A, and B. The phrases are three measures long and attacks should be legato throughout, and the penultimate quarter note of each phrase is "leaned" on.
