In the slow, somber opening of this anthem, we follow grief-stricken women to the tomb where they hear the angel's words of comfort and hope. As those words are sung, the music gradually builds in excitement until the choir breaks into a joyful chorus with a 6/8 meter and a unique, syncopated, jazz-like accompaniment.
