This work is inspired by the zarzuela La Reina Mora, taking its title from the house in which 
the protagonist lived, which was known as "La casa del duende". 
According to legend, a Christian and the daughter of a Moorish king lived there 300 years ago. 
She died of lovesickness and legend has it that a goblin has lived in the house ever since.This work aims to recreate the magic of the duende, making us feel at times in a magical 
fantasy world, but also to borrow the concept, very typical of flamenco, of the duende as an 
inspiring part of true artists. For this, the composer has been based on the description that 
Federico García Lorca elaborated in a conference, known as "Game and Theory of the Duende", 
trying to set the "black sounds", the fight, the reaction of the public when the Duende that 
Lorca describes, from a folkloric perspective close to flamenco, turning the band into an 
authentic stage for flamenco singing.The combination of the duende, as a magical being, and the duende, as an element of art, 
very typical of flamenco, alternate and merge during the work, resulting in different 
environments that are traversed as if they were different rooms of the house of the 
Moorish Queen herself.
