Yiruma is one of my favorite New Age composers. His songs are absolutely beautiful with a touch of sadness. Kiss the Rain is no exception. This arrangement is written for Flute Choir - 4 C flutes, alto, bass, contrabass, and optional cello. The cello part could be played by any C instrument in a similar range. If your choir does not have a contrabass, you may substitute it with another bass flute.

The song starts with a solo in the 1st Flute part, accompanied by the low flutes. The melody gets passed around among the C flutes and a portion of the song features the altos and basses.  At the height of the piece, the 1st flutes are playing a descant of cascading notes that compliment the melody.

This piece would be great for any occasion.
