Composed by Gary Keady, Gary Lawrence Keady, John Mcintyre Vallins, John Vallins, and Phillip Beazley. Arranged by Dan Severino. Contemporary. Score. 3 pages. Piano Teacher Press #6102849. Published by Piano Teacher Press (A0.864804).

Jingle Bell Rock has been a perennial Christmas favorite from its debut in the 1950's.  This arrangement is written for young beginning pianists.  It is written in standard two part writing.  There is a single melodic line for the right hand and a single bass line for the left hand.  It is in a jazz style so one should "swing" the eighth notes.  This piece is an excellent piece to help students along in playing syncopated melodies.  I tried to repeat the rhythms throughout the piece so each new measure didn't have a different rhythmic issue the student would need to master.

This arrangement of Jingle Bell Rock will stand up well as a piece for recitals, family gatherings, Christmas parties and simple personal enjoyment.
