String Quartet String Quartet - Level 4 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.749751

Composed by George Gershwin and Ira Gershwin. Arranged by Stephen M. Taylor. Contemporary. Score and parts. 10 pages. SMT Music #4616255. Published by SMT Music (A0.749751).

This great swing tune is from the musical / opera Porgy and Bess by George Gershwin. A true masterpiece- the opera- is chock full of great tunes and the score is wonderful throughout. If you get a chance to see it - do it.
This arrangement of I Got Rhythm actually goes hand and glove with my arrangement of Summertime. When I originally arranged them I meant for I Got Rhythm to segue right in to Summertime as a mini medley. So, try getting my rendition of Summertime and play one right into the next. Works great for background music or performance. Great of weddings, parties, Cocktail hours and general fun playing. I hope to get the full arrangement up on Youtube so you can hear what I'm describing. .
