It's voiced for SAATB, and can be performed by ensembles of any size, with or without amplification. This is a great piece to work on with a vocal jazz ensemble for swing syncopations and part independence. Bass singers have the opportunity to work on their walking bass and vocal percussion skills.
Performance notes are included with suggestions on how to incorporate improvisation and how to approach ensemble diction in a stylistically appropriate way.
Intermediate choirs who perform this piece unamplified will have equal success. The harmonies are simple and the vocal lines are intuitive which makes this a great piece in which to practice a cappella singing and intonation.
A piano reduction is included for rehearsal purposes.
