As the composer of music for well-known movies like Bridget Jones?sDiary, Sense and Sensibility and Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Patrick Doyle had already made his name. With the song Non Nobis Domine from the film Henry V, Doyle received the 1989 Ivor Novello Award for Best Film Theme. In close cooperation with the composer, Johan de Meij selected the best material from the Henry V soundtrack for this attractive arrangement, with the unison-sung Non Nobis Domine as a touching finale.
Patrick Doyle (Glasgow, 1953) schreef de muziek bij bekende speelfilms als Bridget Jones's Diary en Great Expectations. Sinds het verschijnen van de monumentale soundtrack Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire heeftDoyle zich definitief bij de wereldtop van filmcomponisten gevoegd. Eind jaren tachtig voorzag hij enkele Shakespeare-films, waaronder Henry V, van prachtige muziek (voor de song Non Nobis Domine ontving Doyle de1989 Ivor Novello Award for Best Film Theme). Johan de Meij selecteerde het mooiste materiaal uit de Henry V-soundtrack voor een welluidende bewerking, met het eenstemmig gezongen Non Nobis Domine als ontroerende finale.
Patrick Doyle hat sich mit Soundtracks zu grossen Kinofilmen wie z.B. Bridget Jones - Schokolade zum Fruhstuck oder auch Harry Potter und der Feuerkelch in der Filmwelt einen Namen gemacht. Fur das Lied Non Nobis Domine aus Henry V erhielt er einen Preis fur das beste Filmthema. In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Komponisten wahlte Johan de Meij das schonste Material aus dieser Filmmusik fur eine klangvolle, bewegende Bearbeitung aus.
Suite extraite de la bande originale du film Henry V / Ne en 1953 a Glasgow, Patrick Doyle s'est fait un nom en composant la musique de films a grand succes, tels que Le journal de Bridget Jones, Raison et sentiments, Gosford Park, Indochine et De grandes esperances. Plus recemment, il eut l'honneur de succeder a John Williams pour la composition de la bande originale du quatrieme volet de la saga Harry Potter. Depuis la sortie de l'imposante bande son d'Harry Potter et la coupe de feu, Patrick Doyle est definitivement entre dans le cercle des meilleurs compositeurs de musiques de films. Vers la fin des annees 1980, Patrick Doyle acollabore etroitement avec la Renaissance Film Company, dirigee par l'acteur Kenneth Branagh. Il a compose la musique pour plusieurs productions dont Hamlet, Much Ado About Nothing (Beaucoup de bruit pour rien) et Henry V, entre autres. Le theme, Non Nobis Domine, extrait d'Henry V, fut recompense par l'Ivor Novello Award for Best Film Theme (1989). En etroite collaboration avec Patrick Doyle, Johan de Meij a rassemble les plus belles pages de la bande originale du film, Henry V, dans un arrangement attrayant qui se clot en apotheose avec l'emouvant, Non Nobis Domine, chante a l'unisson.
