Composed by Joseph Haydn (1732 - 1809). Arranged by Edited & arranged by Pat Spence. Classical,Concert,Wedding. 22 pages. Piper Publications #3913447. Published by Piper Publications (A0.811693).

Haydn originaly composed this trio for baryton, viola & cello for Prince Esterhazy who was an enthusiastic baryton player. This is the 83rd of 125 trios which illustrate the prince's developing proficiency on this now little used string instrument. Despite the limited usefulness of the trios, Haydn never allowed the high standard of musical inventiveness to fall.
There are three movements, Adagio, Allegro & Menuetto & Trio which have been arranged for 2 Bb clarinets and bassoon. The bassoon part can be played on a cello. Players of intermediate standard and above will enjoy this piece.
