Composed by George Frideric Handel. Arranged by Dave Prudon. Baroque,Christmas,Easter,Sacred,Wedding. Score and parts. 8 pages. Prudon String Ensembles #3897535. Published by Prudon String Ensembles (A0.732529).

There are lots of arrangements of the Hornpipe in D for a string quartet or a trio, but hardly any for a Violin/Cello Duo.  And while many of those arrangements include just the first section, this arrangement is of the entire piece.  Nicely crafted parts with harmonies that work well together guarantee that this will be satisfying to play every time.  Along with the Hornpipe in F, this piece is still often requested as part of the music for a wedding, so it would be a very nice addition to the repertoire list for any performing Violin/Cello Duo.

To see a Violin/Cello arrangement of the Hornpipe in F, as well as an abundance of nicely-written arrangements for strings, take a look at:  Prudon String Ensembles Sheet Music.
