An arrangement for string quartet of one of Grieg’s best-known Lyric Pieces, "Wedding at Troldhaugen," composed for his 25th wedding anniversary. The complete piece is included here: the sounds of a joyful party around a calm, reflective section. This arrangement is meant to be faithful to the original while still being very playable by professional musicians. [I apologize that the sound file is just the computer playing, and not very well. I hope to put up a sample of a real quartet soon.]
