Go Tell It On the Mountain is an African-American spiritual song that celebrates the birth of Jesus. While sometimes sung with adjusted lyrics so it can be sung all year long, the original lyrics make it a Christmas song - or to be sung on Christmas Day and after.  

This arrangement is based on the version recorded by the Canadian Brass Quintet. It is short and sweet, and full of happiness and joy.  

There are 2 opportunities that you can have your audience join in by adding finger snaps or hand claps. Or you can coerce a family member or fellow roadie. You could also use a tambourine, or any unpitched percussion instrument. Just have fun!

Scored for 4 Bb, alto, bass, and Bb contrabass clarinets. There is an optional Eb part that doubles the Clarinet 1 part.
