  • April 03, 2016 Great book, almost

Love the easily-followable tablature and the songs, but I hoped there would be more "folk songs" and fewer hymns and other genres. Definitely worth the price, though!

  • April 27, 2011 Wonderful if you already know your theory

This book has a great price, and a good amount of well-known songs, if you already know your music theory. The book starts you out with dotted eights and sixteenth notes extremely early, so be sure to brush up on your counting. This book tunes to the key of...

C (CGG), which is slightly unclear. You can tune to the key of D (DAA) if you prefer and still use the Tab., though.

  • November 14, 2008 Found what I was looking for

I built a dulcimer in 1978 and at one time could play about 30 songs, but I put it aside for about 20 years and all I remembered was 3 or 4. The MAIN thing was that you included the name of the songs in the book. Not buying a...

pig in a poke. So I was able to start playing songs that I had forgotten. Thanks, Paul Holt
