This book may be OK in a classroom setting. But it is not good for one learning on his/her own. The biggest flaw is that it doesn't cover the normal notes a beginner expects. While the fingering chart covers low F to G an octave higher, these are not the notes used in the pieces! They start out much higher (with the back hole partially covered) - not what a beginner would expect.I would have returned this as soon as I saw what it was like, but not worth the cost of postage to do so.
