The double fugue in the final movement of Beethoven's 9th symphony in D minor (Op. 125) is often considered one of the best and most moving examples of a fugue in classical repertoire: the earlier-stated, ponderous "millionen" theme ("Seid umschlungen, Millionen!...") is ecstatically intertwined with the famous "ode to joy" theme ("Freude, schöner Götterfunken..."). This adaptation re-sets the choral parts for four clarinet vocies.

Easy to play this recognizable excerpt from Beethoven. The arranger makes each part important by having the melody move from part to part.
