It is a fugue based on the main melody of the beautiful Catalan Christmas song, El Noi de la Mare, made famous by the great Andres Segovia.
After a fugal exposition, the original melody is presented with a range of harmonisations. There are very few technical difficulties for the players.
The download includes a full score and individual parts in notes for all players.
The parts can be played one-to-a-part or as a larger ensemble making ideal for guitar societies, schools, summer schools and festivals.
