Since my retirement from bank operations I have been working with students in local school bands and orchestras, playing and teaching clarinet again. In the Fall a beginning orchestra class was without their teacher and could only pluck the strings, some could bow. I wrote Autumn Song to play with them on my clarinet. It is presented here along with Winter's Peace as the first two movements of the full, four movement cycle. The additional movements will be presented separately: Spring Joy and Summer Moods. Teachers may want to learn each piece in the season portrayed, and perhaps play the entire piece at the end of the school year.
