Diese Neuausgabe veroffentlicht die bekannten funf Satze in der - wohl von Schulhoff autorisierten - Druckfassung von 1925, obwohl diese teilweise stark vom vollstandig erhaltenen Autograph abweicht. Da aber kein Redaktionsexemplar ausfindig gemacht werden konnte, wurde der Erstdruck nur durch einzelne Anmerkungen erlautert. Zusatzlich erscheint erstmals der kurz vor der Urauffuhrung zuruckgestellte sechste Satz Alla Napoletana sowie zwei von Schulhoff 'Alla Marcia militaristica in modo europaico' betitelte Skizzen nach dem Autograph im Archiv des Museums der Tschechischen Musik in Prag.
