As part of the Nauvoo Illinois LDS Visitors Center theatre production by Nonie N. Sorensen, Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo portrays the life as it might have happened in the Historic town between 1838 and 1846. This song portrays the sadness one woman felt as she departed from her home and followed the Latter Day Saints into the Iowa wilderness seeking a new home in the Rocky Mountains. The show, Rendezvous in Old Nauvoo has been running in the Historic Cultural Hall for over 20 continuous years and is performed by the Visitors Center Senior Missionaries.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
