A lively and colourful fanfare for all the champions who play musical instruments! This work contains much unison work for the band, so a clear image of the Maestoso, Marcato style needs to be established for the players. There is ample opportunity to develop a consistent, lively and well-defined articulation style throughout the ensemble. Dynamics only vary between mf and f; don't allow the f to become raucous but keep it in context with the shape of the lines and the overall shape of the work.
