  • December 21, 2017 No expansion of instrument range

    I was deeply disappointed in the third book. Compared to all my classmates, I only learned 2 new notes in the WHOLE book so my band teacher just lets me play upper octaves when I could. This book is a total let down compared to the first two. The company...

    didn't bother to do music tracks for the first 149 exercises and throwing in random high notes in the Scales section threw many of us off.

    These songs are good for bands, but they do not provide very good skills for players. Recommended, but believed that there should be harder and more challenging pieces
