New Oboe Player
I know how to read music for and play piano so the format is not familiar to me. However, I was pleased to see how easily I picked up the notes on the oboe because I already knew how to read music. I was also surprised to see some of the same music for practicing the oboe that I used for learning the piano many many years ago!

Chinle High Band
I am currently using the entire series for my high school beginning band. I needed to buy the oboe part because the school recently bought an oboe but there wasn't a copy of the music for an oboe.
