Everyone loves the Beatles - and since we all get Beatles requests so often, the more in your repertoire the better! Taking a Phil Spector/"Wall of Sound" type approach, this is unlike any version of Eleanor Rigby you've ever heard before; it's packed with layers of exciting harmonies, countermelodies, and melodic tradeoffs between the parts. This arrangement is as fun to play as it is to listen to, and it will be great for pop concerts, solo & ensemble contests, cello choirs, or just to play for fun with some cello buddies! This arrangement is rated advanced -- several of the parts are at more of an intermediate/advanced-intermediate level, but several of them have tenor clef, treble clef/high thumb position, double stops, and interesting rhythms.
