Paganini wrote virtuoso violin music that could only be played by a few musicians. However, in this book, celebrated compositions by Paganini have been adapted and simplified in such a way that they are playable for practically every violinist - without violating the character and the typical features of his music. Tours de force such as pizzicato in the left hand, ricochet and harmonics are retained in a simplified form, so the pieces in Easy Paganini still sound spectacular and are very violinistic. When it comes to technical requirements for the left hand, the third position (with the occasional further extension) will suffice.

De violist Nicolo Paganini schreef virtuoze vioolmuziek voor een selecte groep. Voor dit boek werden zijn gevierde composities zo aangepast en vereenvoudigd dat ze voor bijna iedere violist te spelen zijn - zonder de typische kenmerkenvan de muziek geweld aan te doen. Hoogstandjes als pizzicati van de linkerhand, ricochet en fluittonen zijn in vereenvoudigde vorm behouden. De stukken blijven zeer violistisch. Qua technische bagage voor de linkerhand voldoetde derde positie met af en toe een uitstapje. De pianobegeleidingen zijn bijgevoegd en staan ook op de twee cd's, evenals mooie voorbeeldtracks.

Das Ziel dieses Buchs ist, jedem zu ermoglichen, die teuflische Musik des Geigenvirtuosen Nicolo Paganini zu spielen. Viele Geiger wurden diese Werke gerne in ihr Repertoire aufnehmen, stossen aber auf zu viele technische Schwierigkeiten oder zu viel Lagenspiel. In Easy Paganini wurden alle Stucke fur Geiger bearbeitet, die etwas Erfahrung im Spiel bis einschliesslich der dritten Lage mitbringen und neugierig auf die spektakularen Moglichkeiten der Violine sind. Eine Klavierbegleitung zu diesen Konzertstucken und Capricen ist in Druckform und als CD Aufnahme enthalten. Die CD enthalt ausserdem wunderbar gespielte Demo-Versionen der Werke.

Easy Paganini raccoglie dodici capricci e brani da concerto di Paganini in una versione adattata accessibile alla gran parte dei violinisti, senza mai tradire il carattere e gli elementi tipici originali. Questi brani beneficiano di un accompagnamento al piano disponibile in due versioni: una versione incisa ed una versione cartacea (inclusa al libro).
