Composed by Lyra Davidica. Arranged by Randy A. Steinberg. Christian,Contemporary,Easter. Score and parts. 20 pages. Randy A. Steinberg #1885593. Published by Randy A. Steinberg (A0.870369).

This arrangement of the popular Easter hymn tune Jesus Christ Is Risen Today is set in an updated light contemporary style for brass quintet that has pleased audiences and church goers whenever performed. Text for the tune was set in the early 18th century by Charles Wesley. In 1708, Lyra Davidica, a little known composer residing in London, England set the text to music which eventually became this popular church hymn. The contemporary setting for this popular church hymn delights audiences and works quite well for almost any brass event. It is especially popular as an Easter time concert piece.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
