The style of this piece is like a classical music waltz, but only with a touch of bravura introduction and coda. This transcription has been much loved since I recorded it for YouTube a while back (linked below).
The piece can be learned by music lovers of all ages and stages, but it is ideal for piano students who are studying piano for 3 years. The piece covers almost all elements of technique in a quasi etude fashion. The piece runs at a little more than 4 minutes in duration. The piece should be performed with a distinct waltz rhythm. However, as the tempo changes to a sprint at the coda, some liberties may be taken regarding strict tempo and rubato playing is effective.
