Composed by 16th Century French Melody. Arranged by Brendan Elliget MAGA 537. Christmas. Score and parts. 44 pages. BJE Music #3603965. Published by BJE Music (A0.750804).

The composer of Ding Dong Merrily on High is unknown but the carol is reputed to be French dating back to the sixteenth century. The text to Ding Dong Merrily on High was originally in Latin - "Gloria in Excelsis Deo".

This arrangement is for concert band and should work well with the choir or congregational singing the traditional words. I’ve added a descant in the 3rd verse. Any suggestions or comments welcome.

Parts include Horns in Eb, Trombones 1 and 2 in TC Euphonium TC, Eb Bass and Bb Bass.

The MP3 was recorded with NotePerformer.

Grade = 3.5 Duration - 1:50 mins.
