Dementor Demeaner opens with a guitar solo over a three measure phrase. The medium swing groove develops into a challenging saxophone soli then shifts into double time. An eight measure phrase in C minor is open for solos. Throughout the composition, elements of atonality and sudden tempo changes help depict the life draining forces of a "dementor", which was inspired from a character in J. K.
