Tom Jones made this song popular in the late '60's - early '70's. And what a song! It's considered a murder ballad. Bad subject matter aside, this song is so cool! And get your fingers ready, because this is an arpeggio paradise! Conducted in 1, the notes fly by.

The Bb clarinets 1 through 4 have 2 part divisis in them. Along with that are alto and bass. If you want to add a contrabass, it can double the bass part.

The tempo marking is at a dotted half = 78, which is quite lively. Of course, choose the tempo marking that won't kill your choir...or make them want to kill you. Hey, it's a murder ballad...I couldn't help it.
