Every oboist needs to learn this...in BOTH key: cminor and d minor! A tremendous challenge and gratifying to play. Beautiful edition with clearly printed parts too!

I love this edition because the printing is large and easy to read. There are not too many editorial markings so the performer can put in what is needed.

  • 2007-11-09 00:00:00.0 The absolute zenith of Bach's instrumental writing

This piece shows Bach at his finest. The outer movements are energetic and driving, while the middle movement contains some of the most lyrical writing in all Baroque music. In fact, this slow movement is a good tool to use for convincing any "Bach-skeptics" in your life. I challenge...

anyone to listen to a good performance without being moved.
