Proclamations about the Messiah's coming nearly always included two messages: comfort and joy. "Be not afraid. . . I bring you good news of great joy!" Combining familiar carols with new texts and tunes, Lloyd Larsen and Pamela Martin have blended their talents to create a fresh interpretation to the timeless Christmas story. In addition to being presented as a large single work, any of the numbers may be used individually during the seasons of Advent, Christmas or Epiphany, making this a truly versatile choral resource.
