Historical/Personal Context:
This piece is what I had to compose for my final project during my first semester in MUCO-221ax (Composition for Non-Majors) at the University of Southern California. I wanted to impress my professor and a guest performer by increasing the piece's difficulty.
This piece has technical challenges, much like the 4th movement of Beethoven's "Hammerklavier", Chopin's "Winter Wind" Etude, and Balakirev's "Islamey". If you two pianists are willing to undergo this monster, then this piece is for you!
