Published by Yingying Li (A0.1010538).Claude Debussy's famous Clair de lune is the third piece of the Suite bergamasque for piano. The Suite, originally composed in 1890 but revised between then and its publication in 1905, is the first real flowering of Debussy's genius for piano music. Its name comes from Verlaine's poem "Clair de lune", which means "moonlight" in French. It is written in 9/8 meter, marked andante très expressif, and to be played mostly pianissimo.
