Worth it just for the CD!
These are fantastic big-band arrangements of some great Christmas songs. You can just listen to the CD and enjoy it around the holidays because it sounds great. There is however a count-off tap at the beginning of each song but it's pretty quiet and doesn't bother me when I'm just listening to enjoy it. But it's an added bonus that you have the trombone part so you can play along. I imagine the other versions of this book for trumpet/sax etc. are all the same songs so you could play along with your friends if you want. The trombone parts are also not very difficult. I find I can sight-read most of them pretty well. Great product! I'll have to check out some of the other books in this series.
